Woods Pure Cologne

I was so excited to sample this scent since I have been searching long and hard for something similar to the original Woods. I paid for the sample and when I received it, I discovered that it is not the same. It is as similar to the original as Abercrombie's re-issue of the scent was. This is extremely overpriced at $85 for half an ounce. The original ones can still be purchased on eBay for that price and you can have the exact scent! I would give it 5 stars if it was an exact match and 4 if it was closer. I gave it three because it smells great. If you liked the original Abercrombie woods, you will like this. Not worth the money in my opinion.

I had looked for years for someone to replicate this or just bring it back. Nantucket is the only one to hit it spot on. I still have an original Abercrombie Woods cologne and talc and I can barely smell any difference. This scent takes me back to the best made clothing I wore from Abercrombie in the early 90's and driving girls crazy with all the Woods I used. It always mellows into this incredibly subtle yet intoxicating fragrance that smells like damp woods or a sawmill. Woods for the best men's cologne of all time!!!
