Catalyst - None of the spray but all of the smell

I was sad to learn a few years ago that Halston had stopped producing Catalyst. I had searched for an alternative that really hit like the original (even attempted creating my own a few times) and just never landed.

I came across Nantucket and their version of Catalyst. I saw the other review and picked up a sample. I was very happy and it’s almost indistinguishable from the original. I even let a buddy try a bit on his hand and he was smelling his hand for the rest of the day.

I ordered my full bottle and received it today. One major difference to consider is that this is a pure oil cologne. I typically use sprays, so this is a bit different. You can feel the oils on your skin and some people may not like that. I feel like it helps to preserve the scent and help it last longer though.

Catalyst is back

This fragrance is incredibly similar to the original, showcasing impressive craftsmanship. Although I didn't experience long-lasting scent, I attribute this to using a tester. I'm eager to try the full-size bottle. If you're seeking the iconic Halston Catalyst for Men scent, this is worth exploring.
