Dominant oils: Ginger, Rosemary, Sweet marjoram
Function: To warm and stimulate muscles by promoting circulation in the neuromuscular tissues in preparation for exercise of any kind, esp. aerobic exercise; can also be used post-workout to help relax stiff, strained or cold muscles.
Use: Topical 

 

Direct inhalation: Put a few drops on a tissue and inhale the scent. Dropping a few drops on a wet washcloth in the shower or bath also works well.

Diffuser and nebulizer: 3-10 drops into water for a diffusor with a heat or air source. Use about 3ml for a nebulizer operated by an air pump.

Massage: Use 15-30 drops per 1 oz (30ml) carrier oil or lotion  and massage into desired area. Grapeseed, Jojoba, Sweet Almond oils are best for this purpose. (2-4% dillution)

Bath: Add 1-5 drops into bath water

CAUTION: Never use Aromatherapy Blends undiluted on the skin, except when placing ONE drop on the pulse points as perfume. Check with your health-care practitioner about using blends during pregnancy and postpartum.
